A decade ago, when NU still existed, and UNTV (with Ramon Bautista, RA, Angel Rivero, those nutty stars of Tumblr) was just a couple of years away from being leased to religious warriors, my radio show “In The Raw” had a TV counterpart. my co-host then was Annette Ortiz-Diaz, drummer for Fatal Posporos (the band was one of the first of the NU107 Rock Awards ‘Raw’ Awardees). The show, as was the channel, was as good and fun as it should be, and it was great while it lasted. UNTV didn’t last long due to… okay, i won’t go there. Long story.
“In The Raw” continued on radio, Annette moved to the States, Fatal Posporos was put on ice. She kept in touch a bit, formed a new band in the States, switched to bass, visited the country, and even became a guest on ITR again with her then-fiancee Dennis. They got married and, like a true rock’n’roll couple, played Metallica songs on their wedding day. That wedding video led to… well just watch the video :)
i mean really, how many times can anybody claim that they jammed with Metallica?? At the Fillmore!!! with proof!!! :D
Filipino musicians Annette Ortiz of Fatal Posporos and her husband Dennis Diaz played Master of Puppets during their wedding and took a video of it. Metallica saw it and look where they are now!!! It’s every fan’s dream to be called up on stage by their heroes.
The only Fillmore I’ve been to is the street where Cash n’ Carry is. LOL

I can’t sleep. I thought by now I’d have fixed my bodyclock. Since 1am I’ve been trying to fall asleep. Tried listening to slow music, reading (a bit), and just lurking on the internet. Then I decided to look at my movies folder. I picked Oldboy. Damn this movie’s good. Anyway, there’s this line, “Even though I’m no better than a beast, don’t I have the right to live?” that I decided to type in the google search bar. Maybe I was thinking the line’s from someone else (seems it’s “original” to Oldboy). This was one of the results.

SO FUCKING LOOOOONG! Never seen people conversing in an answers website. Just scrolling the page down and skimming through it already made me feel exhausted. Which is good. Now I’m feeling a bit sleepier. Just a bit. I also thought blogging about this would help. So far, meh. Well, maybe I’ll read the ‘thread’ some other time. Now I’ll just keep watching until I fall asleep.
